Welcome to the Family

Family operated and owned, with 3 retirement estates in Melbourne’s North, life at all our estates is seen as an extension of family life. We encourage a sense of belonging within an inclusive, welcoming community. Our estates are friendly places with happy residents and empathetic staff, management and business owners who are always there to lend an ear or share a story or simply attend your needs.

We understand that Retirement looks different for every person however the fundamentals of most people's wants and needs do not differ.

We want our residents to feel proud of where they live, to feel cared for,  safe and comfortable and included as part of the community. We want to be able to show you the reality of living in a Family owned family operated village rather than the hype of what living in a Corporately owned village is like. Come and visit and see why so many of our residents are enjoying being free to enjoy the best years of their lives.

During this time of the COVID-19 pandemic we have done everything we can to keep our residents safe, well informed and supplied with the things they need to ensure their well being is maintained.  We have been overwhelmed by our residents response who tell us they are so happy to be at Bridgewater Lake Estate and that we are looking out for them and they couldn't think of a place they would rather be during this very trying time.

Our Promise to You

We are a family owned and operated business with a long history in the retirement industry and through our experience we believe in traditional Family values that encourage Freedom, and Independence and we also encourage a sense of Community founded on the principles of Honesty, Transparency and Integrity.

We are always available to come and have a chat about any of your concerns, desires, wants or needs. Backed by a very experienced team of Managers and Staff who understand and value that this journey is about treating you as part of the family.  In fact many of our staff have their families working in the business too.

I have been living at Bridgewater Lake Retirement Estate for 11 years now.  I lived in my family home until I could no longer look after it. My wife and I moved to Melbourne from a small community in rural Victoria.  We built a home in the Bridgewater Lake Retirement Estate and we were thrilled with the flexibility offered to tweak the design of our home to best suit us.  Since moving in three months ago we have enjoyed many of the facilities, including Club Bridgewater, bowls, water aerobics...

After looking at and researching numerous other villages we came upon Bridgewater Lake Estate.  We were impressed by the community facilities, common areas and of course, one look at our...
